IPW METAjour 2.1.1 Released

[02-Jun-2006] IPW Systems, Inc. would like to announce the immediate release of IPW METAjour version 2.1.1. This is a bugfix release, that addresses an exploit that enables the execution of remote (evil) php-code.

The exploit can only affect systems where register_globals is enabled in the PHP configuration, and we highly recommend, that you disable register_globals in php.ini. If register_globals is not enabled in your setup, you don't need this update.

[22-Feb-2005] IPW Systems, Inc. would like to announce the immediate release of IPW METAjour version 2.0.1. This is a bugfix release, that addresses some minor errors in the user interface, and some problems when installing on servers with PHP5. No database update is necessary.

IPW METAjour 2.0 Released

[15-Feb-2005] IPW Systems, Inc. is proud to announce the final release of IPW METAjour version 2.0.

This is a major upgrade from version 1.6.

Some of the key features of IPW METAjour v2.0 include:

• Completely rewritten Windows-like user interface
• Numerous new tables for intranet functions, such as company lists, contacts etc
• Files in the filemanager are now treated as native objects
• Easier creation and handling of objects in different languages
• Event handling for automated operations invoked by predefined actions
• Reportgenerator for rendering selected records in external document formats
• Far easier installation
• Predefined english and danish websites available during installation
• Numerous out-of-the-box website extensions included, such as webshop, bulletin board, site search, sitemap, user registration, login etc.
• Based 100% on our new IPW METAZO v2.0 framework, a Model-View-Controller architecture for easy maintenance and extensibility of our object oriented programs

Due to the complexity of this upgrade, automated upgrade scripts are not available.

[12-Sep-2003] IPW METAjour 1.5.4 has been released. 

This is a minor bugfix release that solves some installation issues with Unix-system installations.

A major release (version 1.6) is scheduled for November 4, 2003.
